Escape the HEAT!
Imagine an island oasis surrounded by pristine waters, white sand and all just an hour from Montreal!
H2O Island is THE place to escape the heat and humidity of downtown. Take a dip in the river anytime you want. Hammocks, campfires, beach volleyball... Invite your friends even if they don't want to take a course!
No experience required. All levels, groups and individuals welcome!
Despite the extreme visuals commonly displayed in the media, white water kayaking is NOT just about jumping waterfalls and wild rodeo moves. Everyone can kayak, and the feeling one gets the first time you surf a wave or descend a rapid is beyond description.
H2O adventures specializes in beginner and intermediate white water kayaking courses which are offered from our prime location at the base of the Glorious Rouge River, just upstream of H2O Island.

Established in 1996, H2O Adventures began as a paddling school dedicated to bringing the sport of kayaking to more than just extreme sportsmen.
Over the past decade, H2O has grown into one of Canada's pre-eminent outdoor adventure and corporate adventure experience providers.
Operating from multiple locations in-and-around the Montreal area, H2O Adventures today offers an array of adventure experiences for individuals, groups, companies and youth.
True to its roots, H2O Adventures still provides kayaking and canoeing adventures for individuals and groups, but today offers many exciting locations.
H2O Adventures is always on the lookout for dynamic people to join our great team.
Established in 1996 by two paddlers who count more than 40 years of experience between them, H2O specializes in introductory and intermediate courses in both white water and sea kayaking.
H2O Adventures also has a division dedicated to corporate teambuilding, providing safe and well organized activities for groups.
H2O prides itself on it's small student-teacher ratio, personalized instruction and a positive atmosphere.
We also believe that you don't need to be an Olympic paddler to be a great teacher.
H2O prefers outgoing people with personality who realize that our guests are there to have a great time while learning a new sport.
If you are a good paddler already but have no formal instructor training, become an H2O apprentice and learn from some of the best teachers in Quebec. If you already have training, then you'll only need a bit of orientation to learn the H2O method.
H2O Adventures is currently accepting résumés for the 2008 season. Please see the jobs available section for more details.
